My Journey
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in Human Resources, helping organizations and leaders bring out the best in their people. But the truth is — much of what I’ve learned came from experiencing what doesn’t work.
I’ve worked with leaders who weren’t clear about what success looked like for their teams. Instead of defining outcomes and guiding their employees toward growth, they only showed up when things went wrong.
I saw how this approach crushed motivation, created fear, and left talented people questioning their worth.
I’ve also worked in environments where toxic behaviors were rewarded, and those who caused hardship to others were allowed to continue — while great employees carried the weight. It was painful to watch, but it gave me a deeper understanding of what strong leadership truly means.
Through those experiences, I found my purpose: to help leaders create success by design, not by reaction. I began coaching leaders to define performance outcomes, recognize accomplishments, and model the behaviors that align with the company’s values. I helped both new and seasoned leaders communicate with clarity, lead with empathy, and build teams grounded in respect and accountability.
What I discovered is that success isn’t built by managing failure — it’s built by recognizing potential, developing people, and celebrating progress along the way.
